The Interbay Rotary Club's Taste of Tampa Bay event was filled with some great entertainment, food, and wines as over 400 attended the event to assist the Gift of Life. This non- profit group has helped to provide significant assistance to thousands of children from around the World requiring heart surgery and consultations. Event Chairperson Sharry Perri was beautifully dressed as Marilyn Monroe as a follow through to the "Night at the Starlight Lounge" theme. Wonderful culinary experiences were provided by the Red Rose Inn and Suite, Pane Rustica, Mad Dogs and Englishment, Gio's Italian Grill, CDB's Italian Restaurant, Catering by the Family, the Valencia Garden, the Art Institute of Tampa, Mitchell's Fish Market, Peterbrook Chocolatier, Pollo Tropical, Catch Twenty Three, and Toffee to Go.
Some great auction items were presented including two tickets to the 2008 Masters Golf Tournament, jewelry, big screen tv and more.
The event was held at Higgins Hall on North Himes Avenue and was organized by Savvy Soiree.
