Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani visited la Casa Dolce in SOHO this week as part of a campaign swing in his effort to secure the Republican Presidential Nomination. The SOHO visit lasted less than 20 minutes and was short on political substance as the former Mayor aggressively shook hands and acknowledged the importance of Florida in the campaign and the importance of having campaign support. The crowd of almost 100 had started gathering early in anticipation of the candidate's planned arrival at 5:30. Unfortunately, delays kept him away until after 7 PM, but the crowd stayed enthusiastic. With the SOHO, Hyde Park, and Davis Islands area having among the highest turnout rate in all elections, you can expect to see more candidates in the area soon.
We were kind about the late arrival, you can read another comment
