Christmas on the Island of Misfit Art Opens on Friday
Bad Art for Bad People will be kicking off this
unique
event at Mirta's Gallery near downtown.

Tampa photographic artist Bob White is the main
force behind Bad Art for Bad People and can always
be counted on to produce an interesting and
stimulating show.
With proposals ranging in costs of $100- to almost

demolition of the Ft. Homer Hesterly Armory will
significantly impact West Tampa.
Wednesday, July 12, a lengthy public presentation
will be made about the proposals at the Tampa
Convention Center starting at 1 PM. With public
input allowed after the presentations.

MacDintons Irish Pub in SOHO achieved a major
marketing success in Tampa with soccer.
While most sports bars sat fairly empty during the
World Cup games, MacDintons stayed packed -
regardless of the time or day. I visited three "sports
bars" during the exciting final game - all three were
near
empty.
