With the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it
helps to add some extra weight to the Memorial
Day weekend. But let us not forget the
unfortunate casualties that occur during military
training and exercises at home and abroad. Memorial
Day is a great day for beer and bar-b-q, but it is also
a day to reflect on those that have given all for our
country. The impact of the military is more evident
in Tampa than it is in most cities. Take a moment
this weekend to say " Thank You" to all who have
served and to those that are serving. And especially
take a moment to remember those that have given
all.

Running from Friday, May 26 through Monday, May
29, the Tampa Convention Center will be the site of
the Tampa/St. Petersburg Home & Patio
Show
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors ages 60 and
older, and children 12 and younger are admitted

Featuring displays, interactive workshops, safety
presentations, and design ideas; this is a great place

The recent Art After Dark event at the
Tampa Museum of Art attracted a larger, more
diiverse, and younger group than usual Museum
events. Was it the Art, the Belly Dancers, or the
