An Ohio native, Joe is a Graduate of Stanford
University where he was a collegiate All-American. In
1997 Joe was the tenth round pick of the Cleveland
Indians. He has been playing professional baseball
for the last nine years. Joe also played for the
Cincinatti Reds and Boston Red Sox. He now lives in
Carrolwood. Interests include golf, cars, and
snowboarding.

DragonBoat Races Come to Tampa !

Tampa's waterfront was a lot of fun ! And it all
benefited the Moffit Cancer Center and the Florida
Aquarium.
The Inaugural Taste of South Tampa
happened last weekend in Old Hyde Park Village.
The well organized event had over 1,000 attendees,
lots of good music, food samples provided by over 20
restaurants, and lots more ! Event Chairperson Chris
Bruser and all involved did a Great Job !
SOHOTAMPA.COM and TAMPAGOLD.COM served as
the Entertainment Sponsor for the Event.
The event benefited the Boys and Girls Clubs, Meals
on Wheels, and Prostart.
Silver Spoons & Sandcastles XV will be held
on Friday, May 5 from 7-11 PM at the Tampa Port
Authority Cruise Terminal to benefit the Mayor's
Beautification Program
The Recent Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction to benefit
the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was a lot of fun
and raised over $25,000 ! Gaspar's Grotto in Ybor
provided a perfect venue for the event.
Over 30 candidates provided lots of excitement and
interest.
The Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film
Festival, in partnership with the Tampa Museum of
Art, will present ¬ěDrawing a Life: An Adventure in
Art
and Cinema,” a five-film series in support
of ¬ěKeith
Haring: Art & Commerce (A Tribute to the Pop
Shop),” currently on view at the museum.
The series will screen May 4, 5 and 7 at Sunrise
Cinemas in Old Hyde Park Village and at the Tampa
Metro Center in Seminole Heights. For tickets call

hour before show time at the theatre.
