Getting Away from It All ! Hot Air Ballooning in Tampa.
ballooning

With all the traffic and congestion in Tampa, it is hard to believe that every weekend adventurous people are drifiting quietly overhead in hot air balloons just as the sun is rising.

With some great pictures and details, our story about our trip with American Balloon Rides can take you away.

Get the story here.

Dear WILLIAM,

Lots of construction is happening in downtown Tampa. It is significant and will change our city forever.

But don't just watch downtown. The WestShore area has lots of new projects on the drawing board. And if you haven't visited New Tampa in awhile, it will be hard to adjust to the back to back stores and businesses and new condo projects that are overflowing into Pasco County.

Of signficance to South Tampa, Old West Tampa and Downtown is the proposed development of the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory. This property provides the opportunity for a signficant landmark in this somewhat forgotten area. See the pictures and get more details here.

We are working to get back on track after moving our offices. Our sites are changing quickly and lots more changes are ahead. We hope you like it .

We will see you at 42nd Street Bistro in SOHO for the JGLB Band on Friday and on Saturday at the Tropical Heatwave. See you on the street, Mr. Bill

Watch for lots more changes in the area media as well as development. We have been enjoying the battles between the tabloids. More publications are being planned. A new monthly music magazine called REAX has been launched.

Off to a good start, but their THE SCENE section has the SOHO crowd laughing out loud. The "Hyde Park" section listed SOHO locations only (They must have missed the large "WELCOME TO SOHO DISTRICT" sign when they left Hyde Park) And in fact the only actual Hyde Park location listed was the closed Samba Room (It has been Timpanos Chop House for quite awhile now.) And guess what music club they forgot completely ?

We truly wish them well, our area music scene deserves more attention and respect. Keep working to get it right, it is perpetual. We still remember the Tribune's Editorial about the Lightning losing the Stanley Cup - the time they actually won. We could use three more websites to list everything we have gotten wrong. Keep up the great effort.

    Visit REAX here.
