5 teenage girls from Plant High School that recently
learned of the plight of
people of the African country of Malawai are holding
a fundraiser on the front lawn of Bayshore
Baptist
Church at 3111 W. Morrison in Palma Ceia.
We spoke with one of the students, Logan Miles,
about the event. Her enthusiasm and excitement is

Raising money to buy pedal powered
water pumps to provide water for an entire village is
the goal of this fundraiser. In Malawi, a mere $200
pump can bring water to an entire community.
AND speaking of hopping... the
Eggstravaganza at
the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center was full of
kids chasing eggs and posing with the Easter Bunny
for some fun pictures. Over 25,000 eggs were
distributed. A Great Job was done by all involved
and especially the announcing staff of Magic
94.9 in

Disney On Ice will begin a 5 day series of
performances beginning on May 10. We recently
