The City's continuing art in light event was as unique as before. The Poe Garage is the site of an orange display of shadows and images that again adds conversation and excitement about Tampa's downtown. The small attendance at this event was mostly due to the cold weather. Music by d'Visitors added some warmth, but the Firedancer gave everyone some real warmth to enjoy. When Mayor Iorio and others threw the switch and the brilliant orange came to life, the excitement of the crowd could be felt as the creative works of Janet Echelman came to life. Our pictures give you a good idea of the display, but nothing can come close to seeing this in person. If you choose to visit, the work will be on display for sometime yet.
