The weather can really mess up an outdoor event, but NOLA Cafe's Crawfish Fetival had a good crowd, lots of crawfish, good music, and lots of spirit. With a long drought in place , who would have expected a tropical storm to arrive on the first weekend of the 2007 Hurricane Season ? Fortunately, at almost the exact time as the event was to start, the sky cleared and the afternoon provided a nice breezy day at the back yard area of the A la carte Pavillion in the Dana Shores area of Tampa. Over 200 attended the event and consumed cajun crawfish, corn, onions, and potatoes. With a flooded picnic area, the path to the bar was wet and muddy, but no one seemed to let it stop them. It was a good event for all who attended.
